We didn't invent agave.
We just stopped rushing it.
Lazy Sunday Distillery is based in Tierfontein, Malmesbury in the Western Cape, with two farms in the Karoo where our agave grows. The Azul Africana range is built on 100% Blue Karoo Agave — the South African answer to a very Mexican tradition.
The agave hearts go into the pit for 24 hours, golden and smoky by the time they come out. Then into white oak barrels, for as long as the spirit needs. We don't argue with the process.

Aging
Rested in white oak barrels up to 6 months for Reposado, 12+ for Añejo.
